New visitors in Thailand are quick to notice that food is literally ubiquitous and available all around the clock here. It is, indeed, one of the simple pleasures in Thai culture and often a primary concern in everyday conversations. This passion, or rather obsession, is only partially due to the great abundance of food in Thailand. Thanks to influences from many different countries, Thai cuisine is rich in exotic flavors, which has made it extremely popular internationally.
